Studio Indigo choose the magic suggestive transparencies of Cornelia for illuminating the award-winning restaurant, The Clockspire.
Overall UK Restaurant and Heritage Building Winner of the 2020 Restaurant and Bar Design Awards, The Clockspire Restaurant is an amazingly converted 19th-century former Somerset school, designed by London-based practice Studio Indigo.
The majestic restaurant, which in terms of interior décor has been described by one of the awards judges, Vanessa Craft, Editor-in-Chief of Elle Magazine Canada as “dramatic and airy – a wonderful mix of history and modernity” serves traditional British cuisines using only locally-sourced food, which is given a playful twist by a talented team of forward-thinking chefs.
Studio Indigo has produced a thoughtfully designed space with the help of a sympathetic selection of furniture and lighting. We are pleased to announce Cornelia suspensions and a bespoke table version in blown and vacuum metallised bronzed glass have been included in the design of this stunning project, to create direct and indirect floodlight in the restaurant dining area where guests can lounge, order a drink and admire the wonderful arches and intricate wooden beams of its high ceiling.
